Tracked iPhone leads to arrest of Kingaroy trio
A STOLEN iPhone tracked to a Kingaroy St address has led to three Kingaroy residents being charged for property-related offences.
A 22-year-old Kingaroy woman, 30-year Kingaroy man and a 39-year-old Kingaroy man will face the Kingaroy magistrate today for allegedly entering a Haly St residence and stealing property including the iPhone between August 2 and August 5.
The owner tracked the phone's location to a Kingaroy St address when the offenders attempted to transfer money from a linked account on the phone on August 5.
A search of the premises also found property related to the alleged unlawful entry of a vehicle parked behind a Mary St business on August 5.
The 22-year-old woman will appear in court charged with an alleged break and enter, receiving stolen property, two counts of attempted steal, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of a drug utensil, fail to dispose of a syringe, fail to appear and five counts of breach of bail.
The 30-year-old Kingaroy man will face two counts of allegedly receiving stolen property and two counts of attempted stealing, while the 39-year-old man will appear charged with an alleged break and enter, receiving stolen property, two counts of attempted steal, and unlawful entry to a motor vehicle.
Investigations are continuing.
